About Baptism
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door that gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism, we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church, and are made sharers in her mission (CCC 1213). Interested families, please call the Parish Office at 860-529-2545 to schedule a date and attend a Baptism preparation session.
All Baptisms are held during a Sunday Mass, including the vigil. Families must be registered with the parish for three months before a Baptism can be held.
